Level 2 accreditation

As the name suggests this course is designed to equip staff to supervise their client/patient’s use of cardiovascular equipment in the gym. As well as all course materials, LifeDock can also provide an ongoing support system after completion of training. This course is fully accredited level 2 qualification.

Most of us are aware of the benefits of physical activity; a stronger heart, lungs, muscles and bones and high blood pressure, high cholesterol can also reduce the effects of Type 2 diabetes. We are all aware that physical activity is hugely important for maintaining and improving mental health. There are many ways to take part in physical activity; walking, swimming, dancing, playing sport and attending the gym. This course is designed to supervise the use of cardiovascular (CV) Gym equipment.

When you complete this training you will understand the benefits of cardiovascular training ‘In The Gym’ and will be fully equipped to supervise clients/patient’s safe and effective use of CV machines. The duration of the training is 10 hours and includes a simple assessment.
