The LifeDock Chair Based Exercise Instructor Training course is a fully accredited level 2 qualification and has been designed for those who understand the value and rewards of bringing physical activity and exercise to older people and adults with physical and/or learning disabilities. This seated exercise course provides training in the delivery of a robust session outline, while also allowing leaders the freedom to inject their own personality and above all make exercise fun! Our highly experienced tutors will equip leaders to teach seated exercises that promote mobility, flexibility and strength. The course also addresses safety, communication, group management and teaching skills.
Training to be a chair exercise instructor is essential for activity co-ordinators, day centres, nursing or residential homes, supported housing, leisure centres and a wide range of community settings.
