Leading older adults in physical activity is both rewarding and great fun. As the name suggests, this programme encourages the participants to be “On their Feet”. It has been described as “Exercise in Disguise” due to the sessions being so much fun! On Your Feet instructor training is a fully accredited Level 2 qualification, designed for older adults and mixed ability groups.
You will learn a series of standing, exercise to music routines that include social interaction, movement and most importantly, laughter! You will learn pre-choreographed routines as well as developing the skills to create your own sessions. Don't worry if you have two left feet as you will soon be moving and laughing along with the people you support!
It is suitable for a wide range of clients and can be adapted according to the ability of your group. This fun and energising activity is perfect for day centres, leisure centres, supported housing and a wide range of community settings.

LifeDock leaders have access to ongoing support once training is completed via the LifeDock Leader's dashboard where video tutorials and resources are available. Leaders are also welcome to attend online, quarterly refresher workshops allowing them to learn new skills, ask questions and discuss any difficulties.
